All Packed Up

Hello Reader,

The transition from KC to Richmond has officially begun. Here is a quick update.

After three years, I finished up my last day of work at the pizza shop. And now, as I write this, I am on my way to visit my grandma for some quality time before departing to VA at the end of the month.

Next week, I will host one final AWAKE Gathering, the youth worship and Bible study I have lead since last Fall. After that, it's all packing and preparing from here.

Financial Update

Through the generous partnership of people like you I have raised $6,000! This will cover the price of my fall tuition and a portion of my living expenses. Here is the break down:

  • ✅ $5K/$5K fall tuition raised - THANK YOU!
  • $1K/$3K for living expenses & travel, $2K to go.
  • $8,500 for Spring Missions Trip:
    • ⬜️ $2,500 by Oct. 27, 2024
    • ⬜️ $4,500 by Dec. 8th, 2024
    • ⬜️ $7,000 by Jan. 5th, 2025
    • ⬜️ $8,500 by Feb. 2, 2025
  • $11,500 Total Still Needed.

Reader will you pray about sowing a financial gift to help me meet my living expenses goal of $2K?

Prayer Request

This transition in my life is not possible without a partnership team joining me in this next season.

I give thanks to God as I remember you in my prayers.

Will you continue to pray for me that the God of our Lord Jesus would open my eyes and reveal to me wisdom and revelation as I search out the riches of who He is and seek to follow Him? (Eph 1:16-19).

I'm excited about this new chapter and so appreciate your support and prayers.

In Christ,

— David

Hey Reader, Somehow I am already halfway through my training phase—how is that even possible? Although I can't slow time down, I can share some of the sweetness that I have experienced these past weeks. Open House Weekend Earlier this month, MAPS hosted an Open House Weekend where people from all over could come experience the school and program first hand. It was a joy to host both my parents and Jess over those days. The time I had with each of them was so precious and timely. Having them...

Leading worship from guitar

Beloved, Jesus is the fuel and the finish line. He is worthy of every nation knowing, loving, singing and declaring His name. And I have the beautiful privilege of impacting the Middle East —one of the most unreached regions on earth— for the gospel. And I want you to join me. Right now I am training full-time with a missions organization in order to be sent out to proclaim the name of Jesus in the Middle East. Prayer for the Middle East Together with my sister Maddie and fellow students, the...

Hello Reader, I hope this letter finds you well. Right now I am almost two months into my gap year and loving it here at MAPS Global in Richmond Virginia. As I look ahead at what God has in store, I am thrilled to give you some context for how I got here, what I am doing, and how you might be a part. How I Got Here As you might know, I just graduated high school, and the Lord has done so much in my heart this past year. This 1min video below summarizes it pretty well: Early last fall, the...
